Bemani is a line of rhythm game series published by Konami. Originally named g.m.d, an abbreviation for Games & Music Division, the line changed its name in honor of the first game in the series (Beatmania). Bemani has been Japan-only, outside of the world famous Dance Dance Revolution/Dancing Stage series and a few unsuccessful global releases of early Bemani titles. Despite this, Bemani has a dedicated following outside of Japan.
